The Golden Sunset Spoon Rest and the 22K Gold Pressed Spoon Rest both feature handpainted real 22 karat gold. The golden sunset scene was hand painted using multiple layers of 8-10 glaze colors to create the painterly scene pictured on this truly one of a kind golden sunset. The gold is meant to reflect the sunset as it does on the water at sunset. Real 22K gold lustered pieces are not dishwasher recommended & not microwave safe, due to real metal.
