Large bowl: 34 oz. capacity, functions as a serving bowl or as a generously portioned bowl for soups or noodle soups with toppings (ramen, pho, udon, etc.).
Medium bowl: 24 oz. capacity, serves as a great low wide bowl for salad, pasta, or noodles — or an entree that needs a great low bowl (like a saucy entree that just needs a deeper plate edge to prevent spilling).
Small bowl: 12 oz. capacity, serves as a low bowl for dips, ceviche, poke, or rice. With the medium bowl, the duo is great for chips (veggies, crackers, etc.) and dip.
**IMPORTANT NOTE** Dishwasher safe —however, hand washing strongly recommended to extend the life and beauty of the luster. Due to the real 22K gold metal materials used in the luster, the piece(s) should NOT be used in the oven or microwave.

>Pieces are wheel-thrown by a mom of 2 in Costa Mesa, CA, then hand trimmed, finished, and fired in the kiln. Then they're handpainted or hand dipped with multiple glaze colors, then fired for a final time at over 2100°F
Description
Each bowl features a hand painted 22 karat gold rim and required an extra firing in the kiln. The bowls are glazed on the inside in Matte White which allows the clay’s natural speckle to show through. The outside of each bowl is glazed with two colors: Matte Blue and a purple crystal “Blue Hydrangea” glaze around the rim. The tiny yellow specks and the larger bursts are a result of the crystals in the glaze that “bloom” during the firing process in the kiln. The large bowl was fired in the Kiln twice during the glazing phase, to allow the beautiful, heavy application of the crystals in the glaze to bloom! Each piece is finished and diamond-sanded by hand to ensure a smooth, non-scratching bottom/foot.

High quality ceramics, hand thrown on a pottery wheel, trimmed, fired, and glazed in Costa Mesa, California. All pieces are designed by me - Courtney, and every piece is individually handcrafted on a wheel and uniquely glazed. Items in a set are thrown and designed to similar specs to match in size, color, and motif. Each piece is handmade from start to finish. There may be variations from piece to piece, which is part of the handmade process.
