These versatile, dishwasher-safe bowls feature dripless spouts for easy pouring and holes in the upper rim for an easy way to strip herb leaves from stems directly into the bowl. The sharp, multi-functional grater surface in each bowl effortlessly grates garlic, hard cheeses, ginger, spices, and more — even turns veggies like large carrots or tomatoes into a paste. These grater dishes are a favorite kitchen tool for quick grating and mixing of dips or marinades (like garlic herb yogurt, or making Pan Con Tomate with crusty bread) directly in the low bowl, then pouring or serving directly in the one-of-a-kind dish as beautiful tableware!

> Individual Grate & Pour Bowl: 5.5” wide x 3.5” tall; can also be used as a Matcha Bowl, grate spices in the dish before mixing tea directly in the bowl.
> Low Bowl: 6.25” wide x 2” tall; also ideal for tableside Parmeggiano Reggiano — pre-grate for the table and use to grate more at the table & pass around the table with the Parm block.

*MULTI-FUNCTIONAL, SHARP GRATER SURFACE: The grating surface is purposefully rough in order to effectively grate almost anything you want! The rough texture in the middle of the dish grates garlic, hard cheeses like Parmesan, ginger or tumeric roots, peppers, spices like Nutmeg or cinnamon. It even shaves down hard vegetables likes large carrots or tomatoes into a rough paste or even chocolate. PLEASE NOTE: use caution if grating directly with your hand to avoid cutting your finger. Grater surface can be cleaned using a bristled brush and placed in the top rack of the dishwasher.
- FUNCTIONAL ART - Food-safe, Oven & Microwave Safe, and Top-Rack Dishwasher Safe. Clean the rough grater surface (center of the plate) with a non-metal, soft-medium bristled dish brush and scrub similar to how you’d clean stubborn food off your kitchen plate.
- DURABLE AND LIGHTWEIGHT - Stoneware Ceramic made with locally made & sourced BMix white clay, Speckle Buff tan clay, or Black clay and glazed by hand with Non-Toxic, Lead-Free, Made in USA glazes
- Diamond-sanded to ensure a smooth, non-scratching bottom/foot
- Pieces are individually wheel-thrown by me, a mom of 2, then trimmed, finished, and fired in the kiln; then hand-painted and fired for a final time at over 2100°F – all in Costa Mesa, CA
