**Garlic Grater Plates back in stock in a variety of colors!**
Handmade wheel-thrown stoneware ceramic grater plate, now with herb stripper holes to make it even faster to make a fresh garlic herb oil dip or marinade! Simply place the stem through the hole and gently pull the stem outside of the dish to release the leaves of the herb into the plate. Or do as the Italians do — use this beautiful handmade plate as a Parmesan Dish to grate hard cheeses at the table then rest the cheese on the plate when passed around or on the table. Grater plates are a staple in the Mediterranean to unlock flavor.
This dish serves as a great multi-use kitchen tool for making dips and marinades! The rough texture in the middle of the plate is a grater for grating garlic into a paste. Also use it to grate hard cheeses, ginger, peppers, spices like Nutmeg, or chocolate.

Description
The plate was thrown on the wheel, then finished with a grooved swirl (and individual stick marks for the other design) to create a rough surface in the middle of the plate that grates garlic, hard cheeses, and more! The plate is trimmed and fired, then glazed in a color, and then fired for a final time.

Ocean Blue *SECONDS* is perfectly functional as a dish, however the intended herb stripper holes are non-functional due to a glaze imperfection.
