Garlic Keeper Jar with Lid and Holes for Freshness, Shallots Onions Storage

Handmade stoneware ceramic jar to store your garlic and shallots, with a lid and holes for ventilation to keep your garlic fresh. A gorgeous addition to any countertop for the avid chef or garlic lover! Ready to ship now and free shipping!

The jar was thrown on the wheel as a closed form with the lid, all made together in one piece. Once the piece dries to a leather hard stage, the lid is carefully cut off and the body of the vessel, and then the lid and jar are trimmed together for a perfect fit. The piece is also trimmed on the bottom to create a foot, then holes are punctured into the sides for ventilation. The jar is fired, then glazed in multiple colors to create a beautiful glaze effect, and then fired for a final time.

> All pieces are food, oven/microwave, and dishwasher safe
> Durable & Lightweight Stoneware Ceramic: Bmix white clay, fired and glazed with non-toxic glazes
> Pieces are wheel-thrown by a mom of 2 in Costa Mesa, CA, then hand trimmed, finished, and fired in the kiln; then handpainted or hand dipped with multiple glaze colors and fired for a final time at over 2100°F

There may be variations from piece to piece, which is part of the handmade process.
