The golden sunset scene was hand painted using multiple layers of 8-10 glaze colors to achieve depth of color & visual texture and to create the painterly scene pictured on this truly one of a kind golden sunset. The gold is meant to reflect the sun as it does on the water at sunset. Please Note that the 22K gold luster is not microwave safe and should also be treated with extra care to keep gold luster bright and shiny (dishwashing not recommended).

> Durable Stoneware Ceramic: B-Mix with Speckles white clay, fired and glazed with non-toxic glazes and real 22 karat gold luster
> 22 karat gold is delicate and should be cleaned with extra care to keep gold luster bright and shiny (dishwashing NOT recommended).
> The piece is finished and diamond-sanded by hand to ensure a smooth, non-scratching bottom/foot.

High quality ceramics, hand thrown on a pottery wheel, trimmed, fired, and glazed in Costa Mesa, California. All pieces are designed by me - Courtney, and every piece is individually handcrafted on a wheel and uniquely glazed. Items in a set are thrown and designed to similar specs to match in size, color, and motif. Each piece is handmade from start to finish. There may be variations from piece to piece, which is part of the handmade process.
