Handmade stoneware ceramic olive oil or vinegar cruet bottle are thrown on the wheel in Costa Mesa CA. After throwing the vessel, I add texture for the beach waves then hand paint a beach themed design with 8-10 glazes. For the Pressed collection, I form the bottom of the bottle on the wheel, then press plants from my garden carefully into the wet clay, then finish on the wheel by pulling the clay upward to form the neck of the bottle where the spout will fit after kiln firing. The ceramic bottle comes with a rose gold weighted pouring spout or modern stainless silver spout, as pictured, both offering for a smooth pour of oil or vinegar. Functionally beautiful and top rack dishwasher safe, and a one of a kind art piece for your countertop!
