- Checkered White Sand planter pot is about 7” wide and almost 5” tall. Perfect size for 4”-6” quart size plants or a smaller 7-8” gallon size plant.
- 9” Abalone Smoke planter pot is over 9” wide and shallow at 3.5” tall, making it ideal for succulents and plants with shallow roots.
Handmade stoneware planter pots, for indoor or outdoor use, features a built-in saucer and drainage holes for optimal plant health, easy watering, and protection for surfaces.
The pot is thrown on the wheel in one piece, with the saucer, then fired and handpainted with 2-3 glazes to create specific variegated ocean-inspired colors, then fired a final time. Each piece is finished and diamond-sanded by hand to ensure a smooth, non-scratching bottom/foot.
Sand-gria & White Sand Checkered designs are first hand painted with wax that then resists handpainted glazes to reveal a checkered pattern (where the wax was not painted). This wax resist technique ultimately delivers a gorgeous finish with glaze and non-glazed buff clay squares.

> If used indoors, give delicate surfaces extra protection with a waterproof cork coaster and always make sure excess water is drained after watering plants to avoid overflowing the saucer.
