FULL SAKE SET, includes:
- 1 carafe with drip-less spout: Approx. 3” wide diameter x 4” tall, with opening
- 4 small cups: Approx. 2" wide diameter x 2" tall
I throw the items in the set individually on the pottery wheel, then form the dripless spout and carve them for added 3D texture. After initial bisque firing, I hand-paint them with 4-5 layered glazes to create a Sunset Flash gradient. The glaze colors come together to transport you to a sunset over the water, with a glowing red blue-green-purple sunset. Great for a modern coastal home.
