Handmade stoneware ceramic bowls feature chopstick notches offset to one side to rest your chopsticks during a meal. Bowls are beautifully functional: non-toxic, lead-free, lightweight & durable, dishwasher safe, and microwave & oven safe! All handmade pieces are unique works of art; they are stunning gifts for friends & family and look beautiful in everyone's home as an accent piece.
Assorted bowls were thrown on a wheel, then chopstick notches were cut & created when the clay was in the middle of the drying process. The bowls are trimmed to create an elegant foot, and some are carved by hand in a unique design. After an initial kiln firing, the bowls were hand painted with multiple glazes on each part of the bowl to achieve the beautiful multi-dimensional colors on the inside and outside of the bowls.

- Pieces are individually wheel-thrown by me, a mom of 2, then trimmed, finished, and fired in the kiln; then hand-painted and fired for a final time at over 2100°F – all in Costa Mesa, CA
