Handmade stoneware ceramic bowls feature chopstick notches offset to one side to rest your chopsticks during a meal. There’s a variety of sizes to fit your needs, from larger noodle soup dishes like Ramen and Pho, to smaller mid size options that fit the needs of a poke bowl or a delicious grain salad bowl. Description
Assorted bowls were thrown on a wheel, then chopstick notches were cut & created when the clay was in the middle of the drying process. The bowls are trimmed to create an elegant foot, and some are carved by hand in a unique design. After an initial kiln firing, the bowls were hand painted with multiple glazes on each part of the bowl to achieve the beautiful multi-dimensional colors on the inside and outside of the bowls.

> Seaweed Sand Poke Bowls: 36 oz. capacity, 6.5” wide diameter x 3.5” tall, medium sized bowl
> Food-safe, oven & microwave safe, and dishwasher safe
> Durable & Lightweight Stoneware Ceramic: B-Mix with Speckles white clay or Laguna Speckle Buff tan clay, fired and glazed with non-toxic, lead-free glazes
> Wheel-thrown by a mom of 2 in Costa Mesa, CA, then hand trimmed, finished, and fired in the kiln; then handpainted or hand dipped with multiple glaze colors and fired for a final time at over 2100°F
> Diamond-sanded by hand to ensure a smooth, non-scratching bottom/foot

All pieces are designed by me - Courtney, and every piece is individually handcrafted on a wheel and uniquely glazed. Items in a set are thrown and designed to similar specs to match in size, color, and motif. Each piece is handmade from start to finish. There may be variations from piece to piece, which is part of the handmade process.
