Handmade stoneware checkered ceramic mugs in a generous size of 16-20 oz. capacity with large comfortable hand-pulled handles. This classicly shaped mug is dishwasher safe and perfect for the everyday warm beverage! I throw these individually on the pottery wheel, finish, and fire them in my home studio in Costa Mesa, CA. Please always use caution with hot liquids.

Each mug is handmade and hand painted, with handles that are hand-pulled individually. The mugs are thrown on a wheel, fired, then glazed using a handpainted wax resist technique to create a checkered pattern of handpainted glaze color squares and raw buff speckle clay squares.

— *Limited* Sand & Sea Blue features a vibrant Mediterranean blue glazed checkered pattern against a buff raw tan speckle clay, and the inside is a bright turquoise Bora Bora blue.
— *Limited* Sea Salt features a glazed checkered pattern using a matte crystal glaze that resembles an off white salty speckled look with small light green crystals in it when you look closely. The glaze is smooth and matte. The inside is a subtly gorgeous grey ombre.
— Sand-gria, a palette of handpainted deep purples, brown, and touches of blue in the outer checkered pattern. Inside is a vibrant Blue-Purple Sangria shiny glaze. Part of the Fall-Winter 2024 Collection.
— White Speckle Sand is the original CxC color, featuring a silky white satin glaze which highlights the natural speckled beauty of the buff clay that shows through the checkered pattern on the outside and on the inside.
